A 18x24" archival quality fine art print featuring the work of Kate DeCiccio will be given to anyone who donates $60 to help us move activism through art.

For the March For Science, Amplifier commissioned artist and educator Kate DeCiccio to create artwork highlighting three scientific leaders who have positively changed their fields and shown the importance of evidence and fact-based research.

Deepika Kurup is a scientist, inventor, and Harvard student who has been deeply committed to environmental activism from a young age. Impacted by the water crisis in India while on a family trip, the young trailblazer designed a water purification-system that relies on solar energy. Kurup was named “America’s Top Young Scientist” in 2012 after winning the Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge and has continued to receive an array of awards and recognitions for her work. According to her website, Kurup is a strong advocate for STEM education because she feels that it “ has the power to revolutionize the world.”
