A 18x24" archival quality fine art print featuring the work of Chanelle Reyes will be given to anyone who donates $60 to help us move activism through art.
In February of 2018, gunshots rang out in a Florida high school and brutally ended 17 lives. Following the deaths of their classmates and teachers, Parkland students rose up in alliance with other gun violence survivors across the United States to make it clear that Americans should never fear for their lives in a classroom, or a concert, or the streets of their neighborhoods.
For the March For Our Lives on March 24, Amplifier and Adobe 1234 hosted an open call for artwork from young and emerging artists to be turned into posters. All of the pieces, including this illustration by Chanelle Reyes, focus on the experiences of young people who have suffered at the hands of gun violence. More than 40,000 prints were distributed by Amplifier and more were downloaded online to demand stricter gun control and an end to mass shootings in the US.
