CHAIN ME TO THE PIPELINE

Regular price $60.00 Sale

A 16x24" archival quality fine art print featuring the work of Nahko Bear will be given to anyone who donates $60 to help us move activism through art.

Nahko Bear is a musician, storyteller, traveler, and activist who is deeply passionate about environmental stewardship and indigenous protection. A mix of Puerto Rican, Filipino, and Native American heritage, the Oregon-born creative expresses a deep appreciation for spiritual cognizance and exploration in his songs. He became especially immersed in Native advocacy and water protection upon finding out about his own indigenous roots when he met his birth mother as a young adult.

In 2014, Nahko created this graphic for Amplifier, based off the lyrics for his song, “Wash It Away.” The words and imagery demonstrate Nahko’s deep appreciation for the Earth’s natural resources and urgency for their conservation.
