Shipping policy

Amplifier is a nonprofit design lab that builds art and media experiments to amplify the most important movements of our times. We design and distribute art that engages people in the creation of a more just, inclusive and sustainable future.

Your support of our non-profit helps drive meaningful change by putting art into the hands and hearts of millions. The work we do building these symbols matters—but not as much as the work you do carrying them into the world. This art is a partnership with every living soul that encounters it. The way YOU hold it, and how you talk about it, and where you hang it determines what kind of tool it is. You are what makes this art powerful. You are the Amplifier.

Shipping Couriers

Domestic
The United States Postal Service (USPS) is Amplifier’s preferred carrier for all domestic shipments. We offer USPS Priority and USPS First Class shipping for U.S domestic orders. At the discretion of Amplifier, orders may be shipped via carriers other than USPS if deemed appropriate.
Shipping rates vary based on location.

First Class Mail (5-10 Business Days)

Priority Mail (3-6 Business Days)

International
Amplifier uses DHL and the United States Postal Service (USPS) for international shipments. International purchases are responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, service fee in addition to the shipping cost paid at the time of purchase to Amplifier.
Shipping rates vary based on location.

DHL Express (2-6 business days)
* Insurance and tracking fees are included in your shipping cost.

USPS First Class International (10-21 business days)
* Shipment times vary by destination and not available in all countries. No tracking or Insurance available.

Processing Time

Although we ship orders as promptly as we can, order processing can take up to 3-5 business days, or longer during busy seasons. Please note that the shipping carrier’s estimated transit time does not include order processing time, which can take 3-5 business days after the order is placed.

Tracking Orders

You will receive email notifications with tracking information for your package once we’ve processed your order. It generally takes up to 3-5 business days for processing before your order ships.

While processing orders we often print the label before putting together your package, and once the package ships it will show up in the tracking system.

If your order does not have a tracking information it means that it was shipped USPS First Class Mail and tracking is not offered. The standard shipping time for USPS First Class Mail is 3-6 Days.

Address Errors

Please double check your delivery address entry. Incorrect or incomplete addresses can cause delay in your shipment and/or cause the package to be undeliverable. Re-shipping and replacement costs due to incomplete addresses are the responsibility of the customer.

Cancellations

Cancellations can be made prior to shipment. If you have not received a shipping notification and you’d like to cancel, please send request for cancellation to store@amplifier.org.

Returns

All sales are final. No returns or refunds are permitted with the exception of damaged prints.

Damages

During Transit

If your order is damaged upon arrival and you wish for a refund or exchange, you must report the damaged print within 72 hours of receipt to store@amplifier.org. Please make sure to include photos of the damaged packaging and artwork, your name, and the email addressed used to place the order. Do not discard the damaged item or packaging.

Prints not reported within 72 hours are not subject to a refund or exchange. The print must be sent back to us within 10 days, and we must receive the returned item before a replacement can be sent to you. We're not responsible for losing prints that are being returned by the customer.

In the case of art that is irreplaceable, Amplifier will issue you a refund.

Damaged Art During Opening
Please use caution while opening your Amplifier artwork, as prints must be handled with care. Amplifier accepts no liability for any damage incurred to the artwork during unpackaging.

How to Unpack Your Print
Your print is rolled into a sheet of kraft paper and sealed with tape. Locate the end of the tape and gently pull the tape from the kraft paper. Go slowly and be careful not to rip the paper or the print inside. Unroll the print from the kraft paper onto a flat surface. You may want to place a heavy object on each corner to help flatten the curled edges.
We do not recommend using a utility knife or any other sharp tool to cut the tape and/or the paper. Do not attempt to remove the print from the kraft paper without first removing the tape.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Amplifier is NOT responsible for package lost or stolen packages. If tracking shows that a shipment was delivered and the customer did not receive it- the customer will need to file a report with USPS directly. No replacements will be made for lost or stolen packages.

Tax Deductibility

Amplifier is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; EIN #47 - 1612420. Donations made to Amplifier are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Your charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the amount of money contributed over the value of the goods provided. Amplifier automatically sends annual tax receipt letters for contributions valued at $250 or more for the previous year’s donations.
